In good Swiss language, it has pulled our sleeves down more and more (the Swiss say that when something is totally fascinates us) - which is our motivation and what we have done to become an exporter for some manufacturers to make it possible that you can enjoy now Swiss chocolate easily at home...

What else does Swiss Chocolate World offer you?
As you can already see under About us, we are really excited about our national symbol, Swiss chocolate. The story has fascinated us even more than the pure daily enjoyment. Interestingly, there was no complete work in the previous literature, so we had to do a lot of research ourselves and soon realized that it was enormously extensive. And so the vision came about to set up Swiss Chocolate Worlds as adventure parks around the globe. The press also wanted to know more about this and asked for an interview. Until then, you already have the opportunity here to learn a lot about the history and the brands and, of course, to discover live chocolate worlds. So if you should ever be in Switzerland - one of the following museums is definitely on your way. You know, chocolate makes you happy

75 years of Lindor
This year we are celebrating a very special chocolate - the Lindor from Lindt is turning 75!
In 1949, Lindt brought a filled milk chocolate bar onto the market. It became a worldwide success thanks to a marketing idea when the chocolate was actually only poured into a ball shape for Christmas 1969. The customers were so enthusiastic that Lindt decided to permanently add the Lindor ball to its range in addition to the traditional table shape.
You can find out here which role models Lindor had and who played a key role in its global success.
100 years of Cailler Frigor
Yes, hardly 100 years have passed and we are already celebrating. At least with us. Because many seem to have escaped the fact that the Cailler Frigor first saw the light of day in 1923 and already delighted the palates of our ancestors.
So more than enough reason for the Swiss Chocolate World to make a big party out of this wonderfully creamy chocolate, which is extremely popular in Switzerland.
And that's why we celebrate the Cailler Frigor all year round with a 100th anniversary.
If you would like to find out more about the Cailler Frigor, here is our link

Simply scroll down, select your country and language and the page will load the way you want it. If you want to give something as a gift to another country, simply enter your billing address and the delivery address with the new country - and everything will happen automatically, including the relevant VAT.
Which chocolate brand is best for me?
This is of course a question of taste - and many people choose their favorite brand based on its level of popularity. Of course, it always helps if you already know the chocolate brand, but it may prevent you from getting to know new things and perhaps even never encountering your future favorite chocolate. And that's actually the reason for us to introduce you to real Swiss chocolate that you hadn't previously considered. Even the Swiss are not familiar with some of our chocolate brands - probably because you can't find them in every corner here. Not because it doesn't suit customers' tastes - quite the opposite. More because they are small, fine manufacturers producing fine niche chocolates, for example the bean-to-bar chocolates from LaFlor, which maintain personal relationships with their cocoa farmers or the award-winning Taucherli.
What every Swiss knows, however, are Cailler, Ragusa, Munz, Minor and of course the global brands Lindt, Toblerone and Ovaltine. Villars and Maestrani – it depends on which language region you come from. And in tourist areas you always come across the Swiss army knife made of chocolate from Felchlin or the gold bars from Goldkenn or the Schöggeli from Swiss Dream.
No matter what you decide, you really can't go wrong, because each of the chocolates represents the highest Swiss chocolate quality. Thanks to our filter function, you can of course also choose your chocolates based on your own preferences - and the great thing about it is that you can start saving from just 10 chocolates. And now have fun discovering your future favorite chocolates from Switzerland and putting together your chocolate package.
Why is Swiss chocolate so famous and where is the chocolate capital actually located?
Switzerland has an absolutely fascinating history of chocolate . Compared to our neighboring countries, we were a little later, but then innovations came from our country that have shaped chocolate all over the world to this day. Milk chocolate, smooth-melting chocolate, white chocolate, ruby chocolate. Who invented it? The Swiss! And milk chocolate and smooth-melting chocolate in particular were absolute revolutions of their time and shaped the worldwide image that "Swiss chocolate is the best." If you would like to take a closer look at the history of chocolate, then take a look at our page Capital of Chocolate . Yes, that is also in Switzerland. The whole world knows the city because it is also the capital of Switzerland, but hardly anyone associates Bern with the capital of chocolate. How did we come to that conclusion?
Well, you probably know the following Swiss chocolate brands, whose chocolate history we will briefly take a look at here:
In 1814, Philippe Suchard began his apprenticeship with his brother Friedrich in Bern on Kramgasse. He stayed there for 8 years and then founded the Suchard company in Neuchâtel - you probably know them because of Suchard Express. But Milka is also a product that came from Suchard and was developed together with a company from Konolfingen, which is only about 20 km from Bern. A little anecdote about this company: it also produced the bear brand - the famous coffee creamer and the bear is a reminiscence of the city of Bern, the capital of chocolate.
In 1879, Rodolphe Lindt invented melt-in-the-mouth chocolate and the conching process in Bern on the banks of the Aare. Yes, that’s right – Lindt was originally a Bernese company that was sold 20 years later to Sprüngli in Zurich and was henceforth called Lindt & Sprüngli.
But Bern's chocolate story is far from over. The first salesman to sell the revolutionary Lindt chocolate was Theodor Tobler's father. He invented the Toblerone in 1908 together with his cousin Emil Baumann. Where? Of course also in Bern – in Länggasse.
In order to really bear the name of the capital of chocolate, the company Wander is needed, which brought the Ovomaltine onto the market on Holzikofenweg in Bern in 1904. And Camille Bloch, whose Ragusa became one of the most popular nut chocolates, did his apprenticeship at Chocolat Tobler before he also founded his own company in Bern.
I want to go to a Swiss chocolate museum
You see, we have researched quite a lot into the history of chocolate and found out a lot more. That is also the reason why we have already appeared in the media 7 times - it is not only journalists who find the chocolate history of Bern - the capital of chocolate fascinating.
That's why we want to build a chocolate museum in Bern with the Swiss Chocolate World. And not just there, but everywhere where Swiss chocolate history has been written. Until then, we have linked a few Swiss chocolate museums here that are worth visiting. The nice thing about it is that if you are just driving through Switzerland, for example if you are planning your summer holiday on the Mediterranean, you will almost automatically pass a chocolate museum. The chocolate brands Maestrani with Munz and Minor can be found in St. Gallen, Lindt in Zurich, Aeschbach near Lucerne, Camille Bloch in the Jura and Cailler if you drive from Bern towards Vevey, Montreux on Lake Geneva.
Safe packaging, safe chocolate shipping
Let's get back to the shop. Chocolates are foods that don't like it too cold or too warm. We send your Swiss chocolate in a specially developed package that prevents heat from penetrating as much as possible. In midsummer we add additional cooling elements. If it is very hot or very cold, it is better to put the chocolate package in a cooler place for half a day after receiving it, for example in the basement. This is how we ensure that your chocolate arrives intact. And when the delicious chocolate is in front of you or your recipient after opening the chocolate package, you can certainly imagine how great the joy will be!
If you would like to buy more than one chocolate package and the Swiss chocolates should be delivered to different addresses, we need a separate order for each package. As with any online order, your data is required, which we will of course treat confidentially and securely. You have the choice between several convenient payment options.
Now we hope you have fun choosing your Swiss chocolate! Discover your personal favorite chocolate, we look forward to your order! If you have any questions, you can easily reach our chocolate shipping department by email. We are happy to accept suggestions, suggestions and criticism. We will contact you and our friendly, competent team will be there for you!
Kind regards, your Swiss Chocolate World
