Hacienda San Cayetano. Single Farm. Vegan. Cardboard Recyclable. Transparent Trade. Made in Zurich City. Pouch Compostable. 73% Cacao.
The Characterful
The Hacienda San Cayetano is located in the Valle Canoabo, in the west of Venezuela. Canoabo also gives its name to the cocoa variety cultivated in this region, which has a high Criollo content. Criollo is considered a fine cocoa variety, grown only in small cultivation areas. It is considered very delicate and low-yielding – but if carefully processed, it rewards with an incomparable variety of aromas.
Due to the difficult political situation in Venezuela, it is extremely challenging to import high-quality cocoa. All the more we are pleased to offer a Criollo chocolate from Rodrigo in Venezuela.
The characterful chocolate tastes hearty, with a nice roasted note. A flavor you won't forget so quickly!

The manufacturer's information can be found in the description above.
We will organize the fastest possible and yet cheapest delivery time for you. However, the delivery time depends on where you live - it appears when you specify your address when ordering.
Please also note - chocolate is a foodstuff and therefore cannot be returned if you do not like it - we only exchange goods in the original packaging with the original receipt, which, after consultation with the manufacturer, is of poor quality. The corresponding postage costs for the return shipment are at your expense. For deliveries that could not be delivered and were not picked up and are returned to us, we will only refund the item cost, but not the shipping costs.
Chocolate likes it neither too cold nor too warm.
We will inform you by email as soon as the courier has delivered the package to you or deposited it at the desired location.
We recommend that you store your chocolate package for half a day at around 15 degrees (e.g. in the cellar) as soon as possible after receipt. We know all too well that this wait never seems to end...
With us you only get chocolates that were actually made in Switzerland - we obtain most chocolates directly from the manufacturer - with some we are even the exclusive export partner
Within the EU (and of course also in Switzerland and Liechtenstein) all our prices include VAT and customs duties. Your shipment will therefore be delivered duty paid, no matter how much you order. If you would like to deliver to a country that is not listed at checkout, please write us a mail
We are against food waste and are socially committed. In the category "1 €- chocolates against food waste" you can save chocolate yourself shortly before the best-before date! We give away chocolates that we can no longer sell to homeless shelters in Switzerland - as you can see on Insta below, we were out and about in Zurich before Christmas
